What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is the use of inserting thin needles into
specific pathways of the body called meridians. This triggers a cascade of neurological responses to release certain neurotransmitters and chemicals known as endorphins and enkephalins. These natural painkillers of the body are similar to the effects of morphine whose functions are to provide relief of pain.  At Acupuncture Relief California, we provide relief of pain based on a natural approach that has been practiced for many centuries ago. In 2003, World Health Organization published a report about clinical trials researching showing the effectiveness of acupuncture in over one hundred indications. Below is a list of few indications of what acupuncture is effective but not limited to:

Allergic rhinitis
(including hay fever)·
Knee pain·
Low back pain·
Neck pain·
Stroke- including Bell’s Palsy·
Tennis Elbow
